iPhone X got stuck in a boot loop

Hi,

Out of nowhere, my iPhone X got stuck in a boot loop today. After hours of troubleshooting, I was able to get it into recovery mode to try and restore my iPhone. Every time, without fail, I've gotten error 4013. iTunes recognizes my iPhone at first but after the "extracting software" stage, the connection gets lost. My MacOS is up to date, as well as my iTunes, and my cord is brand new so I doubt there is anything wrong with my USB port. What should i do?

This just happened to me as well. Problem is this is the 2nd time that it's happened to me. More than likely it's a hardware failure and your phone needs to get replaced. Take it into an Apple Store and they will replace it.

Terrible because first time I was on vacation and I lost about 800 photos, and I'm on my honeymoon right now and because I don't have reliable cellular connection, my 1500+ photos/videos weren't uploaded and it looks like they're gone for good.

Apple can't keep trying to resolve this by replacing phones – there has to be a bigger issue if this happens 2x to the same customer on 2 different phones.
