Dell 3219Q Monitor USB C cable

My Dell 3219Q Monitor USB C cable won't display with this monitor when I boot windows. In MacOS it does but when I boot windows it doesn't display using the USB C cable and port. I can use HDMI with no problem but the response time is slower.

So the issue is not the C port, not cables, not power, (the Dell works on different devices). When I connect my macbook Pro Dell AW doesn't work. Already try the option button while clicking display in system preferences but nothing seems to work to get the computer to now recognized the Dell AW 27 monitor.

Dell U3419W display issues w/ Macbook Pro 2020 I am running a new Dell U3419W monitor with a 2020 Macbook Pro. I have the latest firmware (MB3106) and drivers. When plugging in the USB type C cable provided with the monitor, I receive either no display on the monitor or a flickering display. The error message is "No usb type c signal detected from device". The USB type C cable charges my laptop just fine, and my Macbook recognizes the monitor in system preferences. Not sure if I need a different cable to be compatible with a Macbook, or what the issue is. If anyone knows how I could troubleshoot the display issue, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks

New MacBook Pro 16" will not work with Dell UltraSharp using Display Port (Monitor goes immediately to Power Save) I have a new Work computer... MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021). M1 Max, fairly loaded. When I try to connect this to may Dell UltraSharp using Display Port the Dell immediately goes into power save mode. This monitor works perfectly with every other computer (including other MacBooks with Intel chips). It also works using HDMI with my new computer. This is clearly a problem with this computer and not the monitor. Anybody have similar issues and solutions to get the DisplayPort connection to work? (HDMI is clunky and not available on other Mac's so that sort of make's is extra wonky to use).

Assuming you are running W10, can you verify the settings are correct as shown on Page 39 in

https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_display_projector/esuprt_display/dell-u3219q-monitor_user%27s-guide_en-us.pdf

If the Windows driver does not support DP1.4 Alternate Mode, you will not see any video.

Does Windows Device Manager detect and show the Dell monitor?

No it just says Generic PnP monitor in the Windows Device Manager.
