Hi
I’m downloading photos one by one from iCloud to my pc. Most of them download fine but some will only download as a zip.
I cant figure out why some download as normal jpegs and then others as a zip.
I thought it would only zip them if I was downloading a group of photos.
Can an someone help as I just want to have to use zip files.

Some photos will consist of several files, even if you just select one photo. Then Photos will zip them, so you can download them together. For example, if you download a Live Photo, the zip file will contain the still frame and the video component with the Live part.

Thank you, I didn’t think of that. I’ve just looked at one or two that I had the zip download for and they are Live Photo’s so that’s probably why. Thank you for helping, I’ve been trying to figure it out all day.
