MacBook Pro Upper Cover is Warped

I took off my hard cover to clean my MacBook and noticed a bump/warp in the bottom part of the top cover. It almost looks like a part is coming through and you can feel it. Has anyone had this happen before?

Recently it has gone crazy and is warped so bad that the cover won't close tightly. There is a quarter of an inch gap! I never leave home with the MacBook. MacBook Pro cover is loose Hello. I have a mid 2012 13-inch MacBook Pro. I noticed today that the cover on the top part is starting to separate from the computer. This computer is 8 years old and is working perfectly other than this issue. Is there a way this can be fixed? I don’t wanna buy a new computer unless absolutely necessary. Thanks again.

Take it in for a repair or replace the top cover if you can find one on the open market.
