MacBook Pro cover is loose

Hello. I have a mid 2012 13-inch MacBook Pro. I noticed today that the cover on the top part is starting to separate from the computer. This computer is 8 years old and is working perfectly other than this issue. Is there a way this can be fixed? I don’t wanna buy a new computer unless absolutely necessary. Thanks again.
