on the newest version of i tunes 12.9,5,7 I can not change the order of my songs in my playlists. I used to be able to drag ans drop them, but can no longer do that. things I read on the internet tell me to hit buttons i don't have on my screen. Can you help? I am on a desktop computer.

Make sure you are in Songs view by using View > View As > Songs. Then click the column header for the leftmost column (the one with numbers 1,2,3 etc.). Once you do that, you will able to drag songs up or down the playlist.
