iPhone X - Poor Reception

I searched for this topic & found a lot of stuff, however was unable to add my comments/questions.

My X essentially does not work often times while my 4 year old iPad works just fine at the same place/same time. I have reset the network settings moments ago --- Any other comments/suggestions?
