Apple Watch Series 3 Music App Only Plays One Song Then Stops

I have an apple watch series 3 running OS version 5.1.3. I have one playlist downloaded on the watch and when I start the playlist it plays the first song, gets to the end and the music stops and it never goes to the next song.

I've tried to pause then play the music again to get it to start, and it never starts. If i skip to the next song and then hit pause then play, it will start. I've started running with just my watch and not my phone, so I tried apple music for the first time. Obviously having to skip to the next song and then hit the play pause button twice after every song is more annoying than just bringing my phone with me on the run and using Spotify.

Is Apple going to fix this?
