ios update 12.3.1 breaks facebook comment and reply virtual keyboard not available

The ios update 12.3.1 breaks facebook comment and reply - virtual keyboard not available . Deleting and reinstalling facebook does not fix. Nor does changing keyboard autocorrect and other options. Is a problem on ios only. Same account on other os's works. Click on comment and nothing happens. Click on reply and reply window opens but virtual keyboard doesn't show up. Can anyone help?
