Can't order my iPhoto books

I'm trying to order an iPhoto book that I made and it says I need to upgrade. When I go to upgrade it says I don't have any upgrades. ????

Apple no longer offer print services of any kind. They ceased September 30th 2018. Your only option is to make a pdf of your book and use some 3rd party print service.

Are you still able to create a PDF file for that book?  If so there's a 3rd party book provider which used to do the printing for Apple, Mimeo, that will take PDF files created by iPhoto and Photos and print and bind books and calendars.

Also you can upload the PDF file to PrestoPhotos which can print and bind books and calendars from iPhoto or Photos pdf files.  They've been doing it for some time now.

Use the PrestoPhotos or Mimeo links above for direct access to the PDF file uploading and book/calendar ordering page for each site.

and it says I need to upgrade. When I go to upgrade it says I don't have any upgrades. ????

The error message s is misleading. There have not been any updates to iPhoto since 2015, when apple replaced iPhoto by Photos.

If you upgrade your Mac to macOS 10.13 and Photos 3, you will still not be able to order your book from Apple. But the upgrade would allow yu to create books in Photos for Mac using third-party project extensions and to order books from third-party print services. in Photos 4.0 on Mojave all tools to craete apple Books have been removed completely and have been replaced by the interface to use third-party project extensions.
