magic mouse sliders on bottom side worn out

the sliders on the bottom of the mouse have worn out years ago.... the mouse still works great.... i have been stacking up blue masking tape and cutting strips,,,, works fine but that wears out as well or starts to get sticky.... OVER IT !!!!!!!!!!!

i don't want to buy the mouse you have to charge,,,,, but am over the tape thing,,, is there any thing on the market except foR the felty strips? should i market stacked tape?...... anyone find something besides
