what is StatusBarApp.app?
I got an alert telling me to update StatusBarApp.app on my MacBook Pro (2012 vintage running Mojave 10.14.5). What is it and how do I update it?
MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.14

Bingo! Thanks for the quick reply. The file got installed with a USB dongle I bought to update my MBP to 802.11ac. Got it off Amazon from a firm called USBNovel (https://www.usbnovel.com/product/usb-wifi-adapter-**600mbps-new/). Works fine for me. I was able to download a newer driver with installer and uninstaller. In case anyone else needs this info, you use the uninstaller first, then the installer.
Thanks, again.
It's an older Wifi Network Adapter application...
Oops. Something strange going on. I clicked the link and, yes, I got a 404. Then I noticed that the URL had gained "%29." at the end. I removed that and it went to the site. I looked again at the link in my post and it seems that the "close parentheses" symbol and the period somehow became part of the link. Go figure.
Great news, good work, thanks for the report. :)
That link isn't working here though.
Aha, thanks, I should've seen that! :)
