Different top margins on different pages

I am trying to use this modern CV layout provided in pages, but I need more than one page to complete my CV.

Now when I get to the second page the top margin is huge because it

is using the same margin as it did on the first page where it is needed for the layout to work there. I have included a screenshot below that should show what I mean.

I tried using "Facing Pages" as I read in a different post dated years ago that that should help, but I didn't have any luck... I also tried some method with page breaks but that also didn't work. The person there said that I should use the ruler to change the margin of the text after I selected it, but I could only change the left and right margin.

Is there no way to change margins according to page? Margin for p1 set x etc. Margin for p2 set y etc. ?

Hi OBB,

You do want to 'push the top margin down.'

Look at your statement above in the other direction:

If you want the margin to be smaller on the second page, then you want the margin to be larger on the first page.

Set the document margins as you want them on the second and subsequent pages.

Push the top margin down on the first page by inserting invisible characters (eg. return) in the first page Header.

Insert a Section break at the end of the text on the first page, then in the Section pane of the Document inspector, UNcheck the (Headers and Footers) Match Previous section.

In the second section, delete the invisible characters pushing the top margin down in the previous section.

Barry
