Mid 2015 macbook pro hard drive

Any recommendation's on what type of SSD hard drive to buy? I have a Mid 2015 15inch MBP with 2.2GHz i7 processor, but only 256gb of storage. Looking for at least 1TB possible if available. Thanks in advance.

mid 2015 macbook pro 13” ssd upgrade suggestions Hi All. I have a mid 2015 macbook pro 13” with Retina display. That I want to upgrade the SSD drive to. have been out of the loop for a while so don’t know much on brands and what I should be looking for. Currently it has a 128 gigs. Will be upgrading to Catalina when available. I’ve been reading and I guess some drives that are been sold now. Even do they would work are not as fast as the original drive. So I want to make sure I don’t end up with a lower performing drive with just a bunch or extra storage space. I’m thinking something around 500 gigs should be enough. Recommendations and experiences greatly appreciated. Thank you.
