Pass Code on Apple Watch

Recently i tried upgrading my watch, upgrade itself went successfully but the problem started after the upgrade with passcode. After the upgrade its asking for a passcode and its not accepting ...in the process of recover of the passcode i accidentally unpaired it. Only the last option was to recover this is by doing a factory reset unfortunately its not giving the option for reset also...every time i reboot it comes back with passcode....any suggestions on this ?

My watch is under warranty, visited the local apple service center & they are saying there is no way to recover this. It has to replaced.. As per Apple all products will have one year international warranty (https://store.apple.com/Catalog/Images/worldwidewarranty.html) my watch is eligible for replacement/ refund...but apple is saying for replacement i should visit the country where this was purchased ( purchased in Dubai & using in India).. I am surprised with this feedback ...! any suggestions

Try the second method (direct from the watch) in If you forgot your Apple Watch passcode - Apple Support and note particularly the requirement for charger power (mentioned in the first step) otherwise the Erase option will not appear.

I had exact the same issue and I even post a question here but no answer , after a 3 days of trying I did fix mine , I tried to solve the problem my self at the first day but I realized that it’s no way to fix as I tried many ways of hard reset , internet solutions and so on , day 2 I called Apple support and tried to explain the problem that my watch is stuck at a passcode n keep asking a code even if I wrote mine right , Apple support first time hearing such a problem and engineers decided to downgrade to os5 , right now I was trying again and it works 100% n here’s how :

  1. Long push the side button till you get a turn off the watch pop up
  2. turn it on again by the same button but this time n while you holding the side button push repeatedly the Digital Crown until you see delete the settings pop up message on your watch screen
  3. click that message and wait until the watch does a respiring then you can pair you unpaired iPhone again
