In iOS how do you “Print to pdf” or “rename” while saving to files

If I want to save an email in iOS there is no option to “save to pdf” or “print to pdf” like in Mac OS. Also, when there is an option to “save to pdf” in other apps or “save to files” there is no way to rename the file until you save it somewhere, navigate to that location, then touch & hold on the file, then you get an option to “rename”. Seems it should be easier than that doesn’t it?

There is a small workaround you can use to print to PDF.

  1. From the email you wish to save tap the print button.
  2. On the "Printer Options" screen place two fingers over the print preview and spread your fingers apart.
  3. On the next screen, tap the share button. Choose where to save the PDF of your email.

Correct. There is no way to save an email outside of taking a screen shot which is an issue.

And there's also no way to name a PDF created until after its been saved.

Both items can be suggested to Apple through their Feedback form: Feedback - iPhone - Apple

Apple claims to read all suggestions sent through there, but may not respond.
