Hi, I’ve recently got a new phone and I recently sent an iMessage to someone, which they received and replied but my husband also got the message and reply. I’ve tried to remove him in settings but details are no where and he’s getting fed up receiving my messages!

Most likely you are both signed in with the same Apple ID account for Messages. Apple does not support this and made changes recently that makes this even more problematic to do.
You can check this, and also check if you have any of the same info for being up to send and receive iMessages from by checking here:

If that does look all good, and signing out of Messages (on both you and your husband's iPhones) does not help, then you will also need to change your Apple ID password to flush things out on Apple's iMessage server end of things.
