Yellow bright spots at the bottom of the screen

I noticed today when watching tv that at the bottom of my screen theres two bright spots. Can anyone tell me why this is and what can be done to stop it? I have a 2016 macbook pro and had it for two years with light use.

Its only noticeable when i'm watching something in full screen. It looks really bad and is distracting. I don't have apple care but its insured with Sky does anyone know if they will cover this? I'm so annoyed that I forked out for one of these laptops for this to happen.
