I switched to an iPhone Xs 2 months ago and at the the start I would get emoji replacements for certain words. For a month or so the emoji replacement has not been working. I tried reinstalling my keyboards, rebooting with text replacement off. Nothing worked.

In what app do you experience that issue? Some apps do not allow that.
Also, "Predictive" is learning from how you type and if you do not use a lot of Emojis, it wont suggest them.
Was able to fix it by typing a bunch of emojis
It doesnt work on any apps. It worked a few weeks ago. I find it strange that it worked and it suddenly stopped working. I tend to use a lot of emojis
