Macbook Memory

Hi,

When going to About This Mac > Storage, 110GB is under System, this seems abnormal to me.

I have signed up to the Beta MacOS update so whenever there is an update this gets installed. My hard drive is slowly out of space.

I ran DaisyDisk to locate the drives and 53GB is under Private and I am under to remove or delete this. I have attached a screenshot.

Is it wise to erase and reinstall MacOS?
