Safari links vanish during scroll

When we load [our account] on finance.yahoo.com, the headline links within the "Portfolio News" section disappear during scroll down. This happens with or without extensions/plugins, in normal or safe mode, after reboots, after clearing caches. (Wondering if it is related to prefetching those links.)

Have made a screen recording of this behavior and posted it to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2cFThhCZeM

We do not have this problem when accessing the same site via Firefox, Edge, Chrome and the like.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

Safe Mode - About

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply        Pastebin

You are welcome. Have you tried quitting the VPN if you are using it?

Go to Safari Preferences/Extensions and turn all extensions off. Quit/reopen Safari and test. If okay, turn the extensions on one by one until you figure out what extension is causing the problem.

I would quit/disable/uninstall the com.maintain software using the Developer's instructions.

Most posters recommend not using cleaning programs. They can destroy normal computer operations.

CleanMyMac3 Uninstall

Check for any remaining associated files using these programs.
