Account Name greyed out

Hello, we recently purchased a used 2015 MacBook Pro. The admin account came set up with the password provided. While attempting to change the admin info, it appears that the "Account Name" field is unchangeable, as it is greyed out with the current admin name. Is there a way around this, or do I have to do a factory restart?
