2017 on a 2019 purchased MBP 13"

I just a MacBook 13" without Touch Bar. Why does it says 2017 on its specs? Did I get an old stock?

Until a new model is introduced, the previous model is the latest one. In this case, it appears that the latest and therefore current models without a touch bar are from 2017.
