Apple .... Can't even erase a Hard Disk

Hi there,

I'm super annoyed, I'm trying to format my old mac in order to sell it.

First I tried to simply use the Disk Utility Tool in Order to format/delete the current Hard Drive.

1.) That didnt't work => "Could not unmount device"

2.) Ok cool, tried terminal diskutil list , then eraseDisk, sudo diskutil eraseDisk JHFS+ disk1s1 disk0 ...

Nothing works =>

Marcels-MacBook-2:~ bla$ sudo diskutil eraseDisk JHFS+ disk1s1 disk0

Started erase on disk0

Unmounting disk

Error: -69877: Couldn't open device

Marcels-MacBook-2:~ bla$

=>

The entire web is full with this "Error: -69877: Couldn't open device" , nobody has a solution which works properly.

Boot into internet recovery mode (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201314). Use Disk Utility from there and erase the drive. You cannot erase the drive because you are booted into it.
