I can't access my icloud mail using Outlook desktop. I have signed into icloud on my pc and checked "mail, contacts, calendars'.
I read somewhere else I need to sign in using something like a "generated" password after signing into icloud. If true, how is this done?

You need an "app specific" password.

Using Windows 6 might be part of the problem if I were using it. I am using Windows 10
