my macbook pro has a green tint

So I'm not sure if it got wet or something but I was using my macbook as usual and noticed that what was supposed to be black was turning green (fading out a bit towards the edges) and some of what would be white had a sort of purple pinkish tint. The laptop is functioning perfectly but I don't know what to do about this issue. Tips??

I have same problem too. It is called green gate or glue gate. It is happen because you clean your screen with a bleach or something. Theres a possibility also that screen has moisture inside thats why it is happen. When moisture goes inside to the screen it removes the glue gate of lcd, thats why the green tint shows up. UV makes it bond again, your mac lcd itself has a low UV light to cure the glue gate thats why it will disappear after few mins or hour. But green tint comeback will came back because it is not totally cure.

The fix is cure your macbook with high UV light with the screen. If you want to understand what im saying, try to watch Loca UV Glue on youtube. It is almost same with mac.

My fix is put your macbook while turn on under the sun, make sure the lcd gets a light from the sun. Sun has high UV that can cure the LCD glue. You need to do it many times. Protect the bottom case from sunlight to reduce the possibility of overheat. Download intel power gadget to monitor the temperature.

Every day, you need to put the lcd on a sunlight for 3 hours. 1 hour in sunlight and 1 hour break and do it again until you finish the 3 hour sunlight curing.
