2018 Mac mini not waking from sleep.

Mac mini not waking from sleep: bluetooth keyboard & mouse, Lg Monitor software up to date (LG 32UD99-W). The only way to get it to wake is by changing monitor input from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 - then back to HDMI 1. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What keyboard and mouse? See if the problem changes with a wired keyboard. If it does, stick with it and chuck the BT keyboard. Check also: Response Time (fastest, off), Freesync (off) and Smart Energy (off). In the meanwhile, no need to swap ports, simply power off-on the monitor, should have the same effect. Good luck.
