my mac suddenly started typing the wrong letters, this is what happens when i type 'my keyboard'

i haven't dropped my laptop or anything, and it types fine when i use an external usb keyboard. if you know how to fix it please tell me!!
You didn't mention which Mac you have however, since a USB Keyboard is working you may need to have your Mac looked at. It may qualify for a free repair/replacement.
