How can I buy AppleCare in Greece?

I'm from Greece. In Greece we have Greek authorized Apple re-sellers and stores that sell Apple products that import them from other EU countries or the US. It's cheaper to buy Apple products from the latter stores.

Soon I will buy a macbook pro from one of the latter stores but I won't be able to buy AppleCare from Greece (Greek authorized Apple re-sellers sell AppleCare) because in order to buy AppleCare in Greece, you need to have bought the device from a Greek authorized Apple re-seller.

Is there any other way I could buy AppleCare in Greece? Can I buy it online?

If you buy AppleCare Protection Plan for your MacBook Pro it extends the 1-year manufacturer warranty and it can be used in any country where Apple provides warranty service. You can buy your MacBook Pro from the US and then should purchase AppleCare online in Greece using that link.

"Apple recommends that you purchase the AppleCare Protection Plan in your country of residence, because each AppleCare Protection Plan has terms and conditions specific to consumers in the country or region in which the plan is offered."

You should keep a copy of the receipt and of the invoice sent to your email as this may be required for service in various countries. You can see all he countries it is valid in by reading the country-specifics listed here:

Do you know if AppleCare is valid worldwide?

For instance, if I buy a macbook pro that's imported from the US and I buy AppleCare online from that link, can I repair the macbook pro in Greece or abroad if I'm travelling?
