I have problems to make a backup of my iPhone in iCloud. Although I have removed the old backup files, all the fotos and whatsoever I can think of, it keeps telling me I have 1,5gb of documents. Where are those documents and how can I delete them?

I am just about out of overall storage space (50GB). I have removed all the apps I do not need and am not backing up most of the others. I have deleted pictures and old texts. How do I delete files from icloud but not ipad? I want to clear up space on iCloud but not delete the files from my iPad. I am not using iCloud for backup.
