Show notifications missing for Bluetooth connection

Show notifications is not available on my Bluetooth Sync car connection on iPhone 8. How to fix?

Bluetooth Notifications button has disappeared. I have an IPhone 7 Plus running IOS 15.2.1. It no longer has a “Show Notifications” button for “MB Bluetooth” which is the Bluetooth connection to my 2013 Mercedes e350. Consequently, I can’t get text messages to display on the screen in my car. The feature worked for years and stopped working recently. How can I fix this?

Enabling Bluetooth notifications on iPhone SE At the same time I “lost” the toggle switch (coincident with an operating system update) on my iPhone SE (not sure if it’s 2nd or 3rd gen.) for enabling Bluetooth notifications, incoming text messages no longer were displayed on my Subaru (2017 Impreza LTD.) navigation screen. The car dealership is convinced this is a phone issue and not a car problem. The Apple Genius Bar in South Portland, Maine could not solve my problem either. I’ve seen numerous people posting on this but still no remedies. Can anyone out there help ?

iphone 12, bluetooth for "uconnect" Want to get messages on my dodge vehicle, however when I pair the phone to the car, under bluetooth, it has uconnect, but does not provide an option for notifications. How do I get text messages to my car display?
