Keynote Slide Number Color
My slides have a white background. When I add slide numbers, you can't see them because the numbers are also white. How do I change the color of the slide numbers to black or any other color?

click the slide number box on the slide to select
go to Inspector > Format > Text > Style
the font, size and colour can be changed from there

Thank you for the tip! That solved it.
The key for me was realizing that I couldn't see the slide numbers because the font was white and the slide background was also white. So I had to change the background color to see the slide number. Once visible, I could click on the slide number and change the formatting as you suggested.
