Can't download apps with out putting a payment method
My phone doesn't let me download any apps with out putting a payment method even if it's free is that normal? And is their away to remove that ?

You need a valid credit card with your name on it, issued by your bank.
FYI: With a valid billing info, all updates and free apps are still free.
