Activation lock issue.

My apple iPad won’t let me access my iPad as I have an activation lock warning come up tell me to sign into my Apple ID, however I’m not 100% sure what my old Apple ID is as it was a quite a few years back I set up my iPad for college use. So now my issue is I’m locked out of my iPad and can’t access it at all without this forgotten Apple ID. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

You could attempt to retrieve the ID: If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support

Otherwise, and provided you bought it new in the first place, take it, the original purchase documents, and some ID to an actual Apple Store (make an appointment) and ask if they can unlock it.

If you can't retrieve the ID or find the purchase documents you won't be able to unlock it.
