Crack on camera glass - have not dropped phone - Iphone XS Max

Hi all,

The other day, I notice that the glass in between the 2 lenses has a small crack in it. The phone is 3 months old and I also have insurance; warranty expires in Feb 2020.

Off hand, has anybody experienced this and I imagine a Genius Bar appointment is in my future. Thanks in advance.

Cracked Camera Lens iPhone 12 Pro Max One of the camera lenses on the back of my iPhone 12 Pro Max is cracked. The phone is less than 1 year old and still under warranty. I chatted with Apple support and they said I would have to pay for the repair. After Googling this issue, it appears to be a widespread problem. I feel like Apple should step up and take care of this under warranty because they advertised this model as being the toughest glass ever on a mobile phone.. in actuality the camera lens is very thin glass and appears to break rather easily. Any suggestions? Does anyone know how much Apple charges for this repair that they should be covering under warranty?

XS Max Camera Lens Cracked Just noticed a crack on camera lens. The phone was purchased in January’19 and i put a nice thick case and screen protecter since day one. And the phone has never been dropped. I haven’t contacted Apple Support yet, but from a quic research, this seems to be a common issue among iPhone X models and Apple is refusing to resolve this issue.
