Lost emails
While deleting Trash items, email disappeared on I pad. Tried reset, turning off device. No luck. How can I retrieve them?

That is exactly the expected behavior. Emails are placed in the trash, and may be recovered from there. But once the trash is emptied, the emails that were there are gone forever.
