Strange bug to video feed when connecting iPad Pro to TV view HDMI

I tried to connect my new iPad Pro to my TV via HDMI cable. At first the iPad screen went dark and I had to do a forced restart. The second time I connected it the image showed up on the screen but it came with striating bars across the entire screen (see image below).


I was using a PiAEiK multiadapter to connect the iPad to the TV. Any ideas what might be causing this issue? Is it the adapter that is messing thing up? Or could it be something else?


I tested the adapter with my windows laptop and it works fine by the way.

Possibly the adapter you using causing the problems, most “ third party” adapters don’t work with Apple products. Try use genuine Apple USB-C Digital Multiport Adapter, and see if issues continue.
