Boot Camp Crashes in Windows 10 1903
Anyone else having this issue after a clean installation of Windows 10 Pro v 1903 the moment you install Apple’s Boot Camp drivers Windows 10 crashes after login?

If Windows 10 can run Windows 7’s and Windows 8.1’s software and applications.
If you have W7/W8.1 and upgrade to W10, drivers are 'grandfathered'. If you try to clean install W10, you will run into issues with BC drivers. W10 will fall back to generic WHQL drivers, which should also work. You can check how many of BC 5.x drivers are actually configured in Windows Device Manager vs what is in the BC 5.x package. Software and Applications are not drivers.
Then by theory alone there’s no doubt that the drivers may work. That said I tried and they worked. There are many forums that confirms this. Year from running Windows on my Mac Pro and updating.
I have W8.1, upgraded to W10, still running BC5.x drivers. W10's driver signature enforcement (default) is where you will see issues. This is not retroactively applied during an upgrade.
Just to be told it can’t when it could. The power of persuasion alter your perception or to manipulation your idea to buy another Apple supported computer? 🤔
If you currently have a clean W10 install and you can run the BC5.x Bootcamp setup.exe to install BC5.x drivers, it is an interesting test, if you have the time and inclination to perform it.
If you currently have a functional system, no matter how you arrived at the current state, it does make much difference at this point.
In my case, W7 on a 2009 MP 4,1 works well and is stable. I can remove/reinstall W7 without any issues.
Thanks for posting the details of your system.
My post about upgrading my 2009 Mac Pro to 2010 was stricken from this forum (discussion). I received an email that informed me of such. I figured Apple would take them all down soon.
Here’s the ideal definition that pretty much sums up Apple’s ideology for dealing with capable machines that they no longer sale.
Vintage sounds about right!

Of course that’s Only if you’re able to get any of those drivers to work. Since the internal components (parts) aren’t all the same. Like sticking a Hyundai engine in a Honda or a Hemi into a Ford.
There are other fora which may be more conducive to such discussions, instead of ASC.
