Greetings!! I recently upgraded my phone from a 6s plus, to an IPhone XR. I had a lot of music and playlist before my switch. No I have all my playlist but when i open them. ALL THE SONGS ARE GONE. And my library also has no songs. Since they were backed up on ICloud it all show be there. I went to my Apple Music settings and clicked “Show music” because I’ve had this problem before and it was fixed once I did that. But now I’ve had my new phone for some hours now , w/o my music. Please help. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jhase

I did this. Nothing changed. SOME of the music I downloaded from Apple Music shows up but about 90% disappeared when I upgraded my phone (yesterday) and is not appearing anywhere.

Do this: (even if you already did it, repeat the steps again)

Turn iCloud Music Library off, then on again

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

    1. Go to Settings > Music, then tap iCloud Music Library to turn it off.
    2. Close Settings.
    3. Go to Settings > Music, then tap iCloud Music Library to turn it on.
    4. Turn on “Show Apple Music

 If they still don’t load:

  1. in settings- iTunes App Store - your name - sign out- then sign back  in - you will need to turn iCloud music library back on again.

Good luck!

I got a new phone last week and once I did the above steps all my music and playlists loaded onto the new phone,

it tskes a moment to load and if it’s not loading it may be a connection issue. Reset network settings then repeat the above steps in the order they are listed.

Before you can turn on iCloud Music Library, make sure that you're signed in to all of your devices with the Apple ID that you use with Apple Music.
