How can I know if apple lighting cable is original?

I just bought apple lighitng cable from ebay and on the cable there is a serial number and write in there "Designed by Applw in California Assembled in China |serial number|"

There is any way to check the serial number if its original?

iPhone 8, iOS 12

Well those cable's prices are pretty constant so if you bought it for much cheaper than in an Apple store for example it is likely fake. Given the fact that is is from ebay..

I do not advise using 3rd party cheap power adapters.
