health app not recording on watch or iphone.

The health app on my watch isn’t recording properly, I use it every day to track walks & exercise. After my usual hour of brisk walking there was no data. I set the exercise app to indoor walk ( often have problems with outdoor walk) for the home stretch and it recorded 6.1 minutes but no distance, heart rate, calories etc. and hasn’t even imported it to the health app. The health app on watch & phone show only 1 exercise minute & 2 stand hours and 8% move!
