Walking Asymmetry data suddenly not being picked up by Health App on iPhone 12

I use the Workout App on my Apple Watch 6 (updated) and most of the data gets picked up by the Health App on my iPhone 12 (also updated) with the exception of Walking Asymmetry. This only started a few days ago. Before that all Workout data was showing up correctly. Why has this happened now?

health app not recording on watch or iphone. The health app on my watch isn’t recording properly, I use it every day to track walks & exercise. After my usual hour of brisk walking there was no data. I set the exercise app to indoor walk ( often have problems with outdoor walk) for the home stretch and it recorded 6.1 minutes but no distance, heart rate, calories etc. and hasn’t even imported it to the health app. The health app on watch & phone show only 1 exercise minute & 2 stand hours and 8% move!

Iphone 7 doesn't record mobility Data in Health app I am using an iPhone 7 paired to series 3 watch. The health app doesn't record/show mobility data like steps length, double support time , walking asymmetry etc. I checked all the settings, but nothing seems wrong with the settings. When I checked the data source for the above readings, it shows and there is no option to add a data source.

Fitness app sync issue to health app Hi, I am using the iPhone 11 and Apple Watch series 5. Since updating to ios14 and watch os7 my movement data is no longer syncing to the Apple health app. I have trying un pairing and re pairing my watch. Along with restarting my phone. When I look in the health app under the data sources and access my recent watch data seems to glitch it is available to view for a few seconds however it disappears. Any advice is much appreciated. thanks

I had the same problem with my iPhone 8. Not sure if this would help you but it worked for me.

I had recently changed the Home Button Haptic from 3 to 1 so I tried reverting back to 3 and the “walking asymmetry” decided to record again.

I realise all that and it was working perfectly well till a few days ago. Everything else works except the walking asymmetry.

Well if nothing above helped then unpair and re-pair and setup as new.
