Apple Watch Flashlight Turns Off

I used to use my watch flashlight all the time. Lately, I turn it on and it immediately turns back off. If I touch it and try to change modes, it turns off even more quickly. Rarely, it does come on and works normally, but this is very unreliable. What's up here?

Watch light never turns off? “Always on” IS NOT ON We have had this watch for less than a week. It did not do this at first, but after a day or two, it does not turn off. The “Always On” is not on. I don’t know if metal or glass is somehow making contact and tripping the touch sensor, but this item has not been in our possession long enough for me to think it was any normal wear and tear or misuse.

Make sure you have the latest updates on your iPhone and watch. Next, reset your watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both.
