email connectivity problems

Since download Mojave, I have had constant email connectivity problems. I have Spectrum email - charter.net

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

outgoing email not working after Mojave Update I have removed email accounts and reinstalled them and they still go offline for sending emails. The advice given to make certain Mojave is up to date, does not help because mine is. They suggest it is a network problem but my phone is not having a problem and I am able to receive incoming mail so clearly, not the problem. Im thinking I should uninstall Mojave and go back to High Sierra. Have any of you tried that?

Spectrum (I hate it) and Applemail Why is my (stny.rr.com) email not going out, the error saying it can't connect to the TWC server? When I phoned them, they said they can't keep up with Apple constantly updating and suggested I pick antoher mail program that doesn't update!!!!! Plus several emails come in every day that say "this message has no content" so I can't actually get the content of some important emails. What can I do? I am on a MacBook Air. And please, in your response, assume I am not techincally aware. Thanks.

ChrisL's response in another stream helped me. Restarting in safe mode, removing login files and then restarting normally!
