Deleting Emails

Is it possible to set my iPhone 7 so that when I delete an email it does not go into Trash thereby needing a further delete operation (pain). When I delete an email (or anything else come to that) on my phone, I would like it to go straight away and not get stored in Trash. Can this be done and, if so, for which types of communications ? Thanks to anyone who tells me how to achieve this.
