iPhone X ear speaker makes static sound.

like a week ago I was watching a video and it suddenly changed the sound all to the ear speaker (you could only hear from the ear speaker) then it changed back, but when it changed it sounded like static and very quiet, it wasn’t as loud, now whenever I make a call I have to put It on speaker because I can’t hear it. I tried cleaning it, turning it off and nothing works, it happened after it fell to the hard floor, maybe that’s why? It didn’t break or anything, and it seemed fine after that. Does anyone know what can I do? Should I take it to Apple to they can fix it?

iPhone X, iOS 12
