Icloud Photo File not visible in new Mac

I take photos with my Iphone - it uploads to Icloud. I can see all photos on my ipad or directly on Icloud.


My Mac Book is not synching. cannot see new photos on it.

As a check, open Photos, then go to Photos/Preferences/iCloud and set up syncing. Then go to System Preferences/iCloud, sign in, and check Photos syncing.


Try going to System Preferences/iCloud and stop Photos syncing by unchecking the box. Wait a couple of minutes, then check syncing. Allow time for the sync to complete.



Last resort  - have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
