I just upgraded to iMovie 10.1.12 and need instructions

Is there a user's guide for the current version of iMovie?

The new screens and procedures look much different from iMovie '09.

Alternatively (and much easier) you can use the macOS built-in Help Viewer without launching an Internet browser. Click on "Help" in iMovie's menu bar, then select "iMovie Help".

scrutinizer82,

I just wanted to add to your excellent post. As you say, the Mac built-in help menu is good and easily accessed. However, the online help menu has a much better search feature, plus a sidebar menu that is organized so that you can click on topics to get information. So it's a balancing of ease of access versus better function. Doesn't hurt to use both as one's needs dictate.

Thanks for posting.
