But then I’ll get the 1 year warranty which will be applicable in US right?
iPad warranty has NEVER been international. If you purchase the iPad at Walmart, you will likely be denied service in India.
Is the cost savings worth the hassle? Only you can decide.
You will get a one year warranty, but if you read through the terms, you may have to send or bring the device to the US for service.
