Huge "System" Storage - macOS High Sierra

Hi,

I recently ran the code sudo ** -d 1 -x -c -g / in my mac terminal to obtain a detailed list of where the storage space is being utilized. Please see results below:

Now, the problem is the total space differs from what the System Information screen tells me. See below:

Please help. I do not know where this 446.36 GB of System storage is coming from. I do not have Time Machine running and have deleted all the local snapchats through:
